Analýza tepelné stability vybraných organických povlaků hliníkových materiálů s využitím FTIR a TGA

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá analýzou tepelné stability organických povlaků v rozmezí teplot 20 až 650 °C, zjištěním jejich funkčních skupin pomocí FTIR, které mohou ovlivnit výsledný produkt při tavení hliníkových odpadů a zjištěním úbytku hmotnosti povlaků v závislosti na teplotě. Byla provedena analýza infračerveným spektrometrem a to jak ATR technikou odrazem, tak technikou KBr tablety. Vzorky pro první jmenovanou metodu nebyly tepelně zatížené, pro druhou jmenovanou metodu byly vzorky zpracovány do podoby KBr tablet při teplotě 20 °C a následně byly tablety připravené z tepelně zatížených vzorků. Ze získaných infračervených spekter bylo možno určit složení povlaků při všech tepelných zatíženích a bylo také možné určit funkční skupiny, které jsou stabilní a které degradují při daných teplotách. Další metodou analýzy povlaků byla termogravimetrická analýza. Tato metoda zkoumá úbytek hmotnosti v závislosti na teplotě, který je graficky vyjádřen termogramem. Z výsledků vyplývá, že jsou vzorky povlaků stabilní do teploty 300 °C a k degradaci organické složky povlaků dochází při 400 °C, kdy jsou u některých vzorků významná spektra polárních vazeb anorganických zbytků Si-O, což je netavitelný zbytek nežádoucí při recyklaci hliníkových odpadů.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the analysis of the thermal stability of organic coatings in the temperature range of 20 to 650 °C, ascertaining the composition of their functional groups using FTIR method, which can affect the final product during melting of aluminum wastes and the determination of the weight loss of coatings as a function of temperature. Infrared spectrometer analysis was performed using an ATR reflection technique and a KBr tablet passage technique. Samples for the first method were not heat-loaded, for the second method, the samples were processed into KBr tablets at 20 °C and subsequently the tablets were prepared from heat-loaded samples. From acquired infrared spektra could be determined the composition of the coatings at all thermal loads, and thus certainly functional groups that are stable and which degrade at certain temperatures. Another method of coating analysis was thermogravimetric analysis. This method examines the weight loss depending on the temperature, graphically expressed by the thermogram. The results shows that coating samples are stable to 300 °C and degradation of the organic coating component occurs at 400 °C, with some samples showing significant polar bond spectra of anorganic residues of the Si-O, a non-fusible residue unwanted in aluminum wastes recycling.
