Regional Disparities in the Tourism Sector in the National Park Czech Switzerland and Saxon Switzerland and the Influence of the European Subsidies

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na analýzu cestovního ruchu v Národním parku České Švýcarsko a Saské Švýcarsko. Hlavním cílem práce je zhodnocení prostorového rozmístění ubytovacích kapacit, jejich vývoj od roku 2013 a porovnání na obou stranách česko-německé hranice. V práci je analyzována turisticko-rekreační funkce a turisticko-rekreační zatížení území. Data o struktuře ubytovacích zařízení byla získána z Českého statistického úřadu, Statistického úřadu Svobodného státu Sasko, z databáze ubytovacích zařízení poskytnuté Katedrou regionálního rozvoje a veřejné správy FSE UJEP a na základě vlastního šetření. Práce se dále zabývá přeshraniční spoluprací a projekty dotovanými Evropskou unií, které podporují cestovní ruch ve vybrané oblasti.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of tourism in the Czech Switzerland National Park and the Saxon Switzerland National Park. The main aim of the thesis is the evaluation of the spatial distribution of accommodation capacities, their development since 2013 and the comparison of both sides of the Czech-German borderline. The touristic-recreational function and the touristic-recreational load of the area are analyzed in the thesis. Data about the structure of accommodation facilities were acquired at the Czech Statistical Office, the Free State of Saxon Statistical Office, from the accommodation facilities database provided by the Department of Regional Development and Public Administration at FSE UJEP and on the basis of personal research. The thesis also deals with the cross-border cooperation and projects funded by the European Union that support tourism in the selected area.
