Dárce po oběhové smrti je praktikován u pacientů s infaustním poraněním mozku, které ale nedospěje do mozkové smrti. Je důležité si uvědomit, že i přes všechny benefity může přinést určitá etická dilemata. Donation after circulatory death is performed in patients experiencing severe brain injuries that do not advance to brain death.
