Landscape as a shared space

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je nalezení přístupu k vypracování krajinářské studie na zvoleném modelovém území obce Lažánky s ohledem na využití potenciálu hodnot, dotváření veřejných prostorů v krajině a současné řešení problémů celého území. Přístup zahrnuje zpětné reakce obyvatel na navržené změny, které jsou zapracovány do dalších návrhových částí. Práce je rozdělena na tři celky:Teoretická část je věnována vysvětlení souvisejících pojmů, rozebrání vztahů v krajině a přehledu současných přístupů k tvorbě krajiny. Stěžejním výstupem této části jsou teoretická východiska, která se věnují přístupu ke krajině v různém měřítku (krajina SDÍLENÁ OBECNĚ, VNĚ a UVNITŘ) a třem druhům úprav uzlových bodů v krajině. Druhým celkem je rozborová část, která specifikuje vybrané území a tři vybrané lokality. Třetí je návrhová část, ta demonstruje východiska na zvoleném území v podobě návrhové studie. Nabízí řešení problémů, nové využití a celkovou koncepci uspořádání krajiny, včetně cílových charakteristik a strategie. Podporuje napojení okolních vesnic na krajinu tvořenou cestní sítí s uzlovými body. Na třech vybraných uzlových bodech představuje detailněji typy úprav. Návrh obsahuje také možnosti implementace.Diskuse se zabývá problematikou dnešních venkovských obcí, zmiňuje potenciální úskalí návrhu a jeho implementace. V závěru práce shrnuje potřebu spolupráce, podporu komunity a komplexní přístup k venkovské krajině, který bere ohled na finanční možnosti obcí a nabízí prostor pro uzpůsobení navržených změn.

Abstract:

The aim of the diploma thesis is to find an approach how to make a landscape study in the selected model area of the village Lažánky with regard to the use of the potential of values, modify of public spaces in the landscape and solve problems of the whole area. The approach includes the feedback of the population to the proposed changes, which are incorporated into designed sections. The work is divided into three parts:The theoretical part is made by explanation of related concepts, analysis of relationships in the landscape and overview of current approaches to landscape creation. The main output of this part is the theoretical background, which deals with the approach to the landscape at various scales (landscape SHARED IN GENERAL, OUTSIDE and INSIDE) and three types of modifications of nodal points in the landscape. The second part is the analysis part, which specifies the whole area and three selected localities. The third is the design part, which demonstrates the theoretical start points on the selected area in the form of a design study. It offers problem solving, new uses and an overall concept of the landscape, including target characteristics and strategy. It supports the connection of surrounding villages to the landscape formed by a path network with nodal points. The approach is presented at three particular nodes as more detailed study and shows a different types of design. The study proposes options of implementation.The discussion deals with the issues of today's rural villages, mentions the potential problems of design and implementation. At the end of the work summarizes the need for cooperation, community support and a complex approach to the rural landscape, which takes into account the financial capabilities of villages and offers space for adapting the proposed changes.
