Bakalářská práce se věnuje překladu vybraných textů z oblasti technických manuálů a způsobu překladu. Práce se skládá ze dvou hlavních částí - části teoretické a části praktické. První část se zabývá teorií překladu a jeho metodami. Kromě toho obsahuje popis charakteristických znaků odborného a žurnalistického funkčního stylu.
