Design of a racing monopost suitable for various track surfaces and conditions.

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce byl návrh konceptuálních monopostů schopných fungovat v rámci dvou odlišných traťových povrchů. Vozidla/monoposty jsou navržené v rámci budoucí podmíněné elektrifikace v automobilovém průmyslu a taktéž užívají kombinace prvků estetiky a poměru výkonu vůči ekonomickému rozpočtu v motorsportu. Práce v teoretické části nastínila historii motorsportu a motorsportových sérií, jež jsou s tématem provázané. Rozebírá také základy problematiky elektrifikace osobních automobilů a užití technologií motorsportu v běžném provozu. Následně práce popisuje designové principy a praktiky užité při tvorbě díla od počátečního skicování, přes modelování až po výsledné vizualizace. Jednotlivé monoposty jsou také vysvětleny, a to včetně jejich koncepčního fungování (zavěšení, pohon aj.). Práce také popisuje technologické postupy při výrobě modelu pro obhajobu. V závěru práce lze kromě použitých zdrojů a obrazové přílohy, která se nachází skrze celou práci, také najít autorem práce uvedené důvody inovace a přínosu této bakalářské práce. Těmito přínosy se myslí především již zmíněná nulová emisní hodnota zajišťující téměř absolutně ekologický motorsport, redukce ekonomických rozpočtů motorsportových týmů a sérií. Dále také vybízí k užití vozidel v již stávajících sériích i důrazně poukazuje na možnost vzniku série nové, která kombinuje závodění na okruzích s off-roadovým

Abstract:

This bachelor´s thesis theme is aiming at designing of a conceptual single-seater capable of operating within two different track surfaces. This thesis in the theoretical part outlined the history of motorsport and motorsport series, which are connected with the thesis topic. It also discusses the basics of passenger cars electrification and the use of motorsport used technogies in the automotive industry. Subsequently, the thesis describes the design techniques and principles used in the creation of the work, from the initial sketching, through 3d modelling resulting in final visualizations. Individual single-seaters are also explained, including their conceptual functioning (suspension, drive etc). This thesis also describes technological procedures in the production of a real life model built for presentation purposes. At the end of the thesis, in addition to the sources used and the visual appendix, which can be found throughout the thesis, you can also find the reasons for the innovation and contribution of this bachelor's thesis given by the author of the thesis. These benefits primarily mean the already mentioned zero emission value ensuring almost absolutely ecological motorsport, the reduction of the economic budgets of motorsport teams and series. It also encourages the use of vehicles in existing series, and strongly points out the possibility of creating a new motorsport series. Which combines racing on circuits with off-road racing.
