Light in movement in contemporary visual arts
Abstract:
Diplomová práce mapuje vývoj světelných instalací a projekcí v současném výtvarném umění. Představuje nejvýznamnější umělce, kteří pracovali se světlem jako výrazovým prostředkem a popisuje techniky a postupy během jejich tvorby. V praktické části má zároveň za cíl představit současné trendy a porovnat tak celkový vývoj, který trval více než sto let.

This diploma thesis aims to map the evolution of light installations and projections in the contemporary applied arts. It introduces the most important artists who have worked with light as a means of expression and provides a description of the techniques and methods they have used throughout their works.
