Occupational Therapy for a child of pre-school age with a diagnosi of autism

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou osob s dětským autismem a poruchami autistického spektra. Teoretická část je zaměřená na historický vývoj a současné pojetí autismu, znaky a symptomy autismu, projevy onemocnění, přidružené poruchy a jiné poruchy autistického spektra (Atypický autismus, Aspergerův syndrom, Dětská dezintegrační porucha a Rettův syndrom). Také jsou zde uvedeny diagnostické metody a možnosti vzdělávání dětí s PAS (porucha autistického spektra). Dále prostředky, které je možno využívat při komunikaci s autisty a ergoterapie u dětí s autismem v předškolním věku. V hlavní části je uvedena kazuistika pětiletého chlapce, u kterého byl zjištěn atypický autismus, vývojová porucha řeči a pervazivní vývojová porucha NS (nervového systému). Součásti je i ergoterapeutické vyšetření, krátkodobý a dlouhodobý ergoterapeutický plán.

Abstract:

This Bachelor thesis deals with people with children's autism and autism spectrum disorders. The theoretical part is focused on the historical development and the current concept of autism, signs and symptoms of autism, symptoms of the disease, associated disorders and other autism spectrum disorder (Atypical autism, Asperger's syndrome, a disorder of the disintegrating for children and Rett syndrome). Also diagnostic methods are listed here and the possibilities of educating children with ASD (from early care to college). Furthermore the resources that can be used during communication with autistic people, occupational therapy and other therapies (e.g. animal therapy, art therapy, music therapy ...) are mentioned. In the main part a case report of five-year boy whom was detected atypical autism, developmental speech disorder and pervasive developmental disorder NS is listed. It includes ergotherapeutic examination, the short-term and long-term ergotherapeutic plan.
