Establishment and functioning of the Independent Theater Group Kupalauci in response to the rigged results of the presidential election in Belarus in 2020

Abstract:

Cílem práce je zkoumání dramaturgie umělecké činnosti Nezávislé divadelní skupiny Kupalaucy souboru jak v tajných podmínkách na teritoriu Běloruska hned po odchodu ze státního divadla, a to po srpnu 2020 roku, tak v rámci pozdějších zahraničních rezidencí, a vlivu podmínek nezávislé činnosti na dramaturgii umělecké činnosti. Předmětem výzkumu jsou inscenace souboru, jež vznikly po roce 2020. Pro výzkum vztahu kritérií "partyzánských" podmínek a jejich vliv na charakter divadelního repertoáru v podmínkách ilegální činnosti na teritoriu Běloruska je zvolená metodologie podle Teorii partyzána Carle Schmitta a metodologie kvalitativního výzkumu a zúčastněného pozorování podle teorie Jana Hendla. Výsledkem práce je charakterizování dramaturgie umělecké činnosti Nezávislé divadelní skupiny Kupalaucy a nalezení hlavních faktorů, jež její charakter ovlivňují.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis is to investigate the dramaturgy of the artistic activity of the Independent Theatre Group Kupalaucy troupe both in clandestine conditions on the territory of Belarus right after their departure from the state theatre, namely after August 2020, and in the framework of later foreign residencies, and the influence of the conditions of independent activity on the dramaturgy of artistic activity. The subject of the research are the productions of the company, which were created after 2020. For the research of the relationship of the criteria of "partisan" conditions and their influence on the nature of the theatrical repertoire in the conditions of illegal activity on the territory of Belarus, the chosen methodology is according to the Theory of the Partisan by Carl Schmitt and the methodology of qualitative research and participant observation according to the theory of Jan Hendl. The result of the thesis is the characterization of the dramaturgy of the artistic activity of the Independent Theatre Group Kupalaucy and finding the main factors influencing its character.
