Public administration approach to solving the problems of the Polish national minority

Abstract:

V bakalářské práci se zabývám přístupem veřejné správy k řešení problémů polské národnostní menšiny. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části. 1. teoretickou a 2. výzkumnou. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na zákony a popřípadě jiné normy týkající se národnostních menšin. V rámci výzkumné části je stanoveno provedení polostrukturovaných rozhovorů se zástupci polské národností menšiny. Práce se zajímá o to, jak je aplikovaná teoretická část do praxe. Jak to bylo v minulosti až do současnosti. Jestli se státní správa snaží na žádost příslušníků polské národnostní menšiny pomoci nebo je to spíše naopak. Jaké jsou potřeby a požadavky příslušníků polské národnostní menšiny vůči české státní správě. Jak jsou jejich organizace financovány. Jaký je přístup ve školských zařízeních. Na závěr práce chci vyhodnotit, jak jsou spokojeni s přístupem české státní správy na základě jejich zkušeností vůči příslušníkům polské národnostní menšiny. Cílem práce je poskytnout přehled o polské menšině a poukázat na hlavní problémy této menšiny v současnosti.

Abstract:

In my bachelor thesis I deal with the approach of public administration to solving the problems of the Polish national minority. The work is divided into two parts. 1. theoretical and 2. research. The theoretical part focuses on laws and possibly other standards concerning national minorities. The research part provides for semi-structured interviews with representatives of the Polish minority. The work is interested in how the theoretical part is applied in practice. As it has been in the past to the present. If the state administration is trying to help at the request of members of the Polish national minority, or vice versa. What are the needs and requirements of members of the Polish national minority towards the Czech state administration. How their organizations are funded. What is the approach in school facilities. At the end of the work I want to evaluate how satisfied they are with the approach of the Czech state administration based on their experience with members of the Polish national minority. The aim of this work is to provide an overview of the Polish minority and to point out the main problems of this minority at present.
