Abstract:

Práce se zabývá tématem poznání v díle Tomáše kardinála Špidlíka (1919-2010). Tento světoznámý odborník na východní křesťanskou spiritualitu a patrologii z Papežského východního institutu v Římě se soustředí nejen na studium a systematizaci poznatků, ale současně i na popularizaci a praktickou aplikaci v duchovním životě pro široký okruh čtenářů a posluchačů na Institutu i na vlnách vatikánského rádia. V návaznosti na staletou tradici nezužuje poznání jen na smyslové a rozumové, ale hledá plnohodnotné, integrální a zároveň správnou cestu k němu. Vychází zvláště z řecké filosofické i biblické tradice, z řeckých otců i novějších ruských myslitelů, vede k respektu před Božím tajemstvím a varuje před jednostranným racionalismem. Boží působení předchází naše poznávání, zvláště milost osvícení, posvěcování a proměňování do jeho podoby (zbožštění). V součinnosti s lidským úsilím o očistu vlastního srdce a nabývání Kristových ctností, zvláště lásky, se člověk stává uschopněným k plnohodnotnému poznávání Boha jak v osobním vztahu k němu a v modlitbě, tak i v Božím sebesdílení prostřednictvím všech věcí, lidí či událostí. Stvoření lze plně poznávat jen v souvislosti se Stvořitelem, jenž mu dává duchovní smysl, který nás má vést k němu. Tímto přístupem by se měla vyznačovat především teologie a nalézat podobně jako umělci nejvhodnější symboly k sdělování nejvyšší Krásy druhým.

Abstract:

The work deals with the knowledge in the work of Thomas cardinal Spidlik (1919 - 2010). This world - famous specialist in the Oriental Christian spirituality and patrology from the Pontifical Oriental Institute in Rome concentrated not only on the study and on the systematization of the knowledge, but at the simultaneously on the popularization and the practical application in the spiritual life for the wide circle of readers and the students and also listeners of the broadcasting of the Vatican radio. Further to hundred years tradition he doesn't contract the knowledge only into the sensuous and rational one but he searches the full-value, integral one and in the same time the right journey to it. He issues especially from the Greek philosophical and also biblical tradition, from the Greek Fathers and also from the newer Russian thinkers, he leads to the respect for the God's mystery and warns against the unilateral rationalism. The God's acting precedes our recognition, especially the grace of the enlightenment, sanctification and changing into his likeness (deifying). In the cooperation with the human effort for the purification of the own heart and the acquiring the Christ virtues, especially the love, the man becomes enable to full-value recognition of the God as in the personal relation to Him and in the prayer, so in the God's self-sharing through the mediation of the all things, people or events, too. The Creation can be fully recognized only in the continuity with the Creator, who gives him the spiritual sense, which should lead us to Him. By this access, the theology most of all ought to be marked and find the most suitable symbols for the notification of the highest Beauty to the others as do the artists.
