Exile by Anna Seghers and Klaus Mann
Abstract:
My thesis focuses on historical elements in the pieces of A. Seghers and K. Mann. Firstly the thesis shows the situation in Germany in years 1933-45. The analysis of the pieces "Der Ausflug der toten Mädchen" and "Das siebte Kreuz" demonstrates the circumstances in Nazi Germany. Novels "Transit" and "Vulkan" refer to the situation and conditions in exile.
Abstract:
Ve své magisterské práci se zabývám historickými prvky v dílech A. Seghersové a K.Manna. Nejprve se práce zaměřuje na situaci v Německu v letech 1933-45. Analýza děl "Výlet mrtvých dívek" a "Sedmý kříž" přibližuje poměry ve fašistickém Německu. Romány "Tranzit" a "Vulkán" poukazují na situaci a dění v exilu.
