Abstract:

This bachelor’s includes theoretical background and literature review, analytical part, and proposal part. Theoretical background represents review of literature and other relevant resources in the sphere of cross-cultural management: primarily Fons Trompenaars and Geert Hofstede. The thesis also includes case studies of different managers-foreigners in three regions: Europe, United States, and Japan. Those are three different countries with different approaches to management, as well as suggestions and proposals for cross-cultural management in different countries, and represent the results of theoretical and practical research. The proposal also includes evaluation of the most efficient management style. The main objective of this thesis is to evaluate different approaches to strategic management in foreign markets: the U.S., Japan and Europe, compare the methods of management in the selected countries, and analyse the existing management methods.
