Abstract:

Rozptyl a věrnost rodišti i hnízdišti jsou klíčovými faktory ovlivňujícími jak jedince, tak celé populace a jsou velmi důležité pro pochopení dynamiky a struktury populací. V této práci se především zabývám jednotlivými faktory, které mají vliv na rozhodnutí jedince k rozptylu nebo věrnosti. Také zde blíže představuji různé typy rozptylu. Jedním z cílů této práce bylo doplnit data ze starších studií o nová a zhodnotit výsledky vzhledem k všeobecně uznávaným teoriím. Jak starší tak i mladší studie tyto hypotézy potvrdily. Ze studií vyplývá, že (1) mladí ptáci se rozptylují v daleko větším rozsahu než dospělci a (2) samice jsou náchylnější k rozptylu více než samci

Abstract:

Dispersal and philopatry are key factors affecting both the individual and populations and are very important for understanding dynamics and structure of populations. In this thesis I focus on factors, influencing individual decision to disperse or stay. Also, I present in detail different types of dispersal. One of the aim of my thesis was to supplement data from older studies with newly published papers and evaluate their results in the light of commonly accepted theories. A review of exsisting literature has supported the two main hypotheses stating that (1) juveniles disperse significantly further and in greater extent than adults and that (2) females tend more to disperse than males.
