Luxury as a lifestyle

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce popisuje kulturně-historicko-sociologický aspekt luxusního zboží. Popisuje vznik a vývoj tohoto fenoménu (od pravěku do současnosti), kdy práce vnímá propojení luxusu s módou a vkusem. Práce je zaměřena především na spotřebování luxusních statků u společenských elit a na jejich způsob života. Zkoumá, které elity spotřebovávaly luxus a jakým způsobem. Navíc poskytuje myšlenky odborníků, kteří se otázkou luxusu zaobírali. Dále se v práci rozvíjí problematika ostentativní spotřeby ve vztahu k sociálním třídám. Práce poskytuje ucelený panoramatický i mikroskopický obraz, kdy přechází od celých společenských jevů až po spotřebu luxusu některých jedinců.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis describes cultural-historical-sociological aspect of luxury goods. It describes the creation and development of this phenomenon (from the primeval ages until now), while this bachelor thesis perceives the connection between fashion and flair. The bachelor thesis is oriented on spending the luxury goods by the elite and the lifestyle of this class. It probes, which elite spent the luxury goods and how they spent it. In addition it contains the thoughts of the authorities, which engage the questions about the luxury. In the thesis, there are some informations about the epideictic usage in context with the social classes. The bachelor thesis affords compact panorama tic and microscopic picture, about the luxury goods.
