Closing the Books and Financial statements of company

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá kompletním procesem účetní uzávěrky a závěrky české obchodní společnosti dle platné legislativy. Teoretická část se věnuje charakteristice jednotlivých uzávěrkových operací a vymezení účetní závěrky včetně deskripce jednotlivých účetních výkazů. Praktická část zahrnuje charakteristiku vybrané obchodní společnosti, a vyhotovení výkazů účetní závěrky na základě účetní uzávěrky. Práce ukázala na potřebu zjednodušit účetní osnovu vybrané obchodní společnosti a definovat směrnice podniku, aby nedocházelo při účtování k nesrovnalostem využívání analytických účtů, jež mohou komplikovat vypovídací hodnotu účetních dat pro budoucí analýzy a reporty.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the complete process of Closing the Books and Financial statements of a Czech company according to valid legislation. The theoretical part is devoted to the characteristics of individual closing operations and the definition of Financial statements, including a description of individual Financial statements. The practical part includes the characteristics of the selected company and the preparation of Financial statements on the basis of the Closing the Books. The work showed the need to simplify the chart of accounts of a selected company and to define company directives in order to avoid accounting discrepancies in the use of analytical accounts, which can complicate the informative value of accounting data for future analyses and reports.
