The importance of armed security forces for the elimination of threats of terrorism in the Czech republic.

Abstract:

The presented bachelor thesis deals with the importance of security forces in the fight against terrorism. Terrorism is a very topical issue today and is one of the biggest threats today. The author divided the work into a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part deals with security forces, translates their various classifications and characterizes some of them. He also deals with the issue of terrorism, terrorist attacks and threats of this kind in the Czech Republic. In the practical part he points out the very importance of security forces in the elimination of terrorism, by characterizing special units for the fight against terrorism with a focus on the Czech Republic, but also in comparison with other special units operating in the world.

Abstract:

Predkladaná bakalárska práca pojednáva o význame bezpečnostných zborov v rámci boja s terorizmom. Terorizmus je dnes veľmi aktuálnou témou a radí sa medzi najväčšie hrozby súčasnosti. Autor prácu rozdelil na teoretickú časť a praktickú časť. V teoretickej časti sa zaoberá bezpečnostnými zbormi, prekladá ich rôzne klasifikácie a niektoré z nich aj charakterizuje. Ďalej sa venuje samotnej problematike terorizmu, teroristickým útokom a hrozbe tohto druhu v rámci Českej republiky. V praktickej časti poukazuje na samotný význam bezpečnostných zborov pri eliminácii terorizmu, a to tak, že charakterizuje špeciálne jednotky pre boj proti terorizmu so zameraním na Českú republiku, ale aj vo vzájomnej komparácii s ostatnými špeciálnymi jednotkami pôsobiacimi vo svete.
