Myth and Symbolism in the Art of Cinematography
Abstract:
Cílem bakalářské práce je podrobit filmové díloThe Matrix analýze, která má potvrdit či vyvrátit přítomnost mytologického obsahu a symbolické struktury. Pro tento úkol je využíváno poznatků psychoanalytické literární vědy a strukturální sémantiky. Práce taktéž čerpá z teorií, které se věnují mýtu a symbolu.
Abstract:
The purpose of this following B.A.thesis is to analyse the particular work of cinematography and find out whether or not The Matrix disposes of the mythical content and symbolic structure. To fulfil this goalthe different range of paradigms as psychoanalytic literary theory, structural semantics, theories of myth and symbol are used in this thesis.
