Teacher's practices to support child adaptation to preschool environment

Abstract:

V bakalářské práci se autorka zabývá podporou adaptace dítěte na prostředí mateřské školy z pohledu učitelek. Práce je teoreticko výzkumného charakteru. V teoretické části vymezuje teoretická východiska procesu adaptace dítěte na mateřskou školu, také prezentuje podporu adaptace z pohledu učitelek i rodičů, dále objasňuje pojetí současné mateřské školy a popisuje vývojové období předškolního věku. V empirické části autorka představuje, jak učitelky vnímají vlastní postupy, které uplatňují pro podporu a usnadnění adaptace dítěte na prostředí mateřské školy. Výzkum byl realizován prostřednictvím kvalitativního výzkumu, s využitím interview s učitelkami mateřských škol. Na základě zpracování interview byly zjištěny postupy užívané učitelkami pro podporu adaptace dítěte, dále také podmínky pro jeho usnadnění a také problémy, které při adaptaci učitelky pociťují.

Abstract:

In this bachelor thesis, the author deals with the support of the child's adaptation to the environment of the kindergarten from the teachers' point of view. The thesis is of theoretical - research character. The theoretical part determines the theoretical starting points of the process of the child's adaptation to kindergarten, it also presents the support of adaptation from the teachers' and parents' point of view, and it clarifies the concept of the present kindergarten and describes the development period of pre-school age. In the empirical part, the author describes how teachers perceive their own practices they use to support and fa-cilitate the child's adaptation to the kindergarten environment. The research was conducted using qualitative research and interviews with kindergarten teachers. Based on the inter-views, the procedures used by teachers to support the adaptation of the child, as well as the conditions for its encouragement and problems seen by the teachers, have all been identi-fied.
