Tato diplomová práce si klade za cíl popsat vývoj rekultivace Medard na Sokolovsku. První část práce obsahuje popis a vymezení fotogrammetrie a GIS. U obou pojmů je uvedena stručná historie i současnost. Dále je zde popsána historie těžby na lomu Medard. This thesis aims to describe the development of reclamation Medard in the Sokolov. The first part contains a description and definition of photogrammetry and GIS. In both concepts is given a brief history and the present. There is also described the history of mining on Medard.
