Černý lev 777. A reflection of the cause of the rebellious group in contemporary newspapers (1949 - 1955)

Abstract:

Reflexe kauzy odbojové skupiny Černý lev 777 v tištěných médiích období let 1949 až 1955 je tématem této bakalářské práce. Hlavním úkolem bylo zjištění, jaký vliv měla reglementace předních komunistických institucí na medializaci skupiny Černý lev 777 v médiích v daném období. Pro splnění tohoto cíle byly použity materiály z Národního archivu v Praze a okresních archivů, v jejichž místech skupina působila. Z nich získané informace dokazují, že nejen celostátní instituce mohly ovlivnit mediální prezentaci odbojové skupiny, ale také okresní výbory rozhodovaly o obsahu lokálních vesnických novin. Hlavní část práce následně doplňují novinové články popisující činnost odbojové skupiny. Dalším zjištěním bylo také to, že odpor a trestná činnost proti státu směla být v médiích prezentována až v případě dopadení pachatelů. Z toho vyplývá, že jediné články v tištěných médiích, které se věnují skupině Černý lev 777, popisují soudní proces a zpětně líčí trestnou protistátní činnost skupiny. Tyto mediální texty jsou analyzovány a je poukázáno na metody a především dikci, kterou tvůrci textů využily pro negativní propagandu této skupiny.

Abstract:

The main theme of this thesis is a reflection of the cause of the rebellious group Černý lev 777 in newspapers from 1949 to 1955. The principal task is to discover how the regularization by prominent communistic institutions influenced the media image of Černý lev 777 in newspapers during mentioned time period. For accomplishment of this task, different materials were used from the National archive in Prague and district archives, which were closed to places where the group operated. Information gained from materials proved that not only nationwide institution could form the medial presentation of the rebellious group, but also district committees were deciding about the content of local rural newspapers. The main part of this thesis is also extended by newspaper articles which describe the activity of the group. Next founding was that opposition and criminal activity against the state authorities could be presented in media just in the cases, when the offender had been caught. This implies that the group Černý lev 777 is mentioned only in articles which describe a court trial and criminal offences retroactively. These media texts are analyzed and it is pointed to methods and mainly diction which was used by the creators for negative propaganda of this group.
