This Master´s diploma thesis deals with the fantastic genre in the French-Canadian and Quebec literature of the 19th century. Its aim is to analyze the structural similarity of the French and Quebec fantastic stories. Tato magisterská diplomová práce se zabývá fantastickým žánrem ve francouzsko-kanadské a quebecké literatuře 19. století. Jejím cílem je analyzovat strukturální podobnost francouzské a quebecké fantastické povídky.
