The Attitude of the Czech Society of the 21st Century Towards the Appearance of Tattoos Among Classical Musicians

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá sociálním pojetím tetování v klasické (vážné) hudbě, jež je spojena s určitými společenskými konvencemi a zažitými pravidly, která když jsou porušena, způsobí v určitých skupinách negativní či naopak pozitivní reakce. Cílem práce je poskytnout informace o tom, jak česká společnost 21. století nahlíží na potetované interprety klasické hudby, a to za využití výsledků vlastního výzkumu, které slouží k potvrzení či vyvrácení hypotéz.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the social perception of tattoos in classical music, the field of human activity determined by social conventions and rules rooted deeply from past, which can trigger various reactions when broken. Either negative or positive, depending on the surrounding social environment. The aim of the thesis is to inform about how tattoo is perceived in relation to classical music in the Czech society of the 21st century, based on the results of my own research serving as Framework for confirmation or denial of hypotheses.
