Sensor arrays in clinical analysis

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá využitím senzorových polí v klinické analýze. Teoretická část se zabývá definicí senzoru a jeho obecným rozdělením na jednotlivé podskupiny. V další části je vymezen pojem senzorové pole a s ním spojené možnosti zpracování a vyhodnocení sestaveného pole pomocí pokročilých chemometrických metod (např. rozpoznávání vzorů, analýza hlavních komponent, lineární diskriminační analýza, umělé neuronové sítě). V experimentální části je popsáno testování instrumentace stolní skener-mikrotitrační destička na známých chemických systémech a vývoj nového software pro zpracování experimentálních dat snímaných z destičky, dále obsahuje studium využití instrumentace pro stanovení látek pomocí srážecích reakcí nebo pro studium kinetických/enzymatických reakcí.

Abstract:

This master thesis deals with sensor arrays in clinical analysis. The theoretical part of thesis is focused on the definition of the sensor(s) and their characterisation. The next part defines the concept of sensor array(s) and it is associated with possibilities of processing and evaluation of experimental data by chemometric methods (e.g. pattern recognition, principal component analysis − PCA, linear discriminant analysis – LDA, artificial neural networks – ANN, etc.). The experimental part describes the instrumental set-up (desktop scanner and microtiter plate), the development and testing of a new software for processing experimental data of well-known chemical systems. It also includes the study of application for determination of analytes by precipitation reactions and/or for the study of kinetic/enzymatic reactions.
