Wine as a Part of the Czech National Identity

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem víno jako součást české národní identity. Je rozdělena do tří částí, a to na teoreticko-metodologickou, analytickou a návrhovou část. Teoreticko-metodologická část se zabývá definicí vína, jeho výrobou a historií ve světě i v Čechách. Dále podrobněji vysvětluje, co znamená termín vlast, národ a národní identita. Rozebírá také výzkum vytvořen Centrem pro výzkum veřejného mínění, který se zabýval českou národní identitou. Dále jsou v této části popsány národní tradice a také národní tradice spojené s vínem v Čechách. Analytická část této práce se zabývá výzkumem. Pro účely tohoto výzkumu bylo zvoleno dotazníkové šetření prostřednictvím dotazníku elektronického, přičemž výzkumná metoda byla zvolena metoda kvantitativní. Cílem této práce je zjistit, jaké postoje mají respondenti k vínu jak součást české národní identity. Otázky v dotazníku byly vytvořeny tak, aby pomohly tento cíl naplnit. Na základě cíle byly stanoveny hypotézy, které byly později potvrzeny či vyvráceny. V návrhové části jsou uvedena doporučení pro respondenty a některé organizace.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis is based on the theme Wine as a Part of the Czech National Identity. It is divided into three parts, such as theoretical and methodological, analytical and improvement proposal part. The theoretical and methodological part deals with definition of wine, it’s production and it’s history in the world and in the Czech Republic. This part further explains what terms native land, nation and national identity means. This part also analysis the research created by the Centre for Public Opinion Research which is about Czech national identity. This part further analysis national traditions and also national traditions related with wine in the Czech Republic. Analytical part of this thesis deals with the research. For the purpose of this thesis was chosen electronical questionaire, whereas for the research method was chosen quantitative method. The main goal of this thesis is to find out, which attitudes have the respondents of this research for wine as a part of Czech national identity. The questions in the questionaire were chosen to be helpful with fulfill this main goal. Based on this goal were chosen hypotheses, which were lately confirmed or disproved. In the improvement proposal part are mentioned some recommendations for the respondents and some organizations.
