Procesy autofágie a sekrécie extracelulárnych vačkov patria medzi veľmi dynamicky sa rozvíjajúce oblasti výskumu. Oba tieto deje zohrávajú dôležité úlohy pri fyziologických procesoch v bunkách, ale vyskytujú sa aj pri tých patologických.
