Ancient Greek Verbs Denoting Sexual Intercourse
Abstract:
Cílem této disertační práce bylo vyhledání ve všech dochovaných starořeckých literárních textech co největšího počtu sloves označujících pohlavní styk, určení jejich stylistického zabarvení a navržení funkčního a adekvátního překladu do češtiny. Abstract:
The main objective of the dissertation is to find the maximum number of verbs expressing sexual intercourse in preserved Ancient Greek literary texts, to determine the stylistic tone of the verbs and to suggest Czech translation, both functional and appropriate.
