Assisted Reproduction as a Life Experience

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce "Asistovaná reprodukce jako životní zkušenost" se věnuje problematice reprodukční medicíny. V práci jsou reflektovány různé oblasti lidského života, které léčba neplodnosti může ovlivnit. V teoretické části je popsána ženská a mužská neplodnost spolu s možnostmi léčby pomocí metod asistované reprodukce. Dále jsou v práci zahrnuty psychologické, etické, právní a finanční aspekty neplodnosti. Výzkumná část si klade za cíl popsat, analyzovat a interpretovat prožitou zkušenost s léčbou neplodnosti. Studie konkrétního případě je hlubokou sondou v dosud málo prozkoumané oblasti lidského života.

Abstract:

My bachelor work "Assisted Reproduction as a Life Experience" deals with the problems of the Reproduction Medicine. Various spheres of human life, which the cure of infertility or sterility can influence, are reflected in my work. Both male and female infertilities together with treatment possibilities by means of methods of the assisted reproduction are illustrated in the theoretical section of my work. Furthermore, psychological, ethical, legal and financial aspects of infertility are included in my work, too. The research section of my work has the target to describe, analyze and interpret life experience with the infertility treatment. My study of a special case performs a deep sound into this not profoundly explored sphere of human life up to now.
