External costs in transport and the pricing principles

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou externalit v dopravě a popisuje vybrané druhy těchto externalit. Popisuje jejich ekonomické ohodnocení, tj. externí náklady a způsoby jejich vyčíslení. Dále se zabývá vyčíslením a porovnáním externích nákladů na konkrétním příkladu přepravy. V poslední části nabízí možnosti nového uplatnění oceňování externalit v sektoru dopravy.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the problem of externalities in transport and describes selected types of externalities. It also describes the economic evaluation, i.e. external costs and methods of quantification. It also deals with quantifying and comparing the external costs of transport on concrete example. The last part of this thesis offers new options for externalities pricing in transport sector.
