Design and implementation of agile methodology for software development for IT team in a small enterprise

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá agilními metodikami vývoje softwaru se zaměřením na malé IT týmy vytvářející informační systém v rámci malého podniku. V úvodní části práce jsou popsány vybrané tradiční a agilní metodiky vývoje a dále jsou diskutovány výhody a nevýhody jejich použití. Druhá část se věnuje analýze konkrétního IT týmu a identifikaci jeho problémů. Na základě požadavků týmu je navrhnuta úprava metodiky o principy agilní filosofie. V další kapitole je popsán postup implementace této metodiky a formou případové studie se práce zabývá nasazením metodiky na reálný softwarový projekt. V poslední části práce vyhodnotí úspěšnost nasazení metodiky.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with agile methodologies of software development with focus on small IT teams creating an information system within a small business. At the beginning, the thesis describes traditional and agile development methods and their advantages and disadvantages. The second part deals with the analysis of a specific IT team and the identification of its problems. Based on the team's requirements, it is proposed to adapt the methodology with the principles of agile philosophy. The next chapter describes the implementation of this methodology and a case study of applying the methodology to a real software project. The last part of the thesis evaluates the success of the methodology.
