MiRNA jsou známé jako posttranskripční regulátory genové exprese a při studiu onkologických malignit hrají tudíž nezastupitelnou roli, které se dnes mnoho výzkumných laboratoří snaží využít pro terapeutické účely. MiRNAs are known as post-transcriptional regulators of gene expression and in the study of cancer malignancy therefore play an irreplaceable role that many research laboratories trying to use for therapeutic purpose.
