U Brassicaceae byl u Arabidopsis thaliana prokázán chromocentrický (CC) smyčkový model nebo konfigurace podobná růžici. Tento vzorec je charakterizován telomerami shlukujícími se kolem jádra, zatímco centromery jsou umístěny na periferii jádra - centromerický heterochromatin tvoří chromocentrum. In Brassicaceae, chromocenter (CC)-loop model or rosette-like configuration was proved in Arabidopsis thaliana. This pattern is characterized by telomeres clustering around the nucleolus, while centromeres are located at the periphery of the nucleus—centromeric heterochromatin forms chromocenter.
