Czech religious scene of 21st century

Abstract:

Cílem mé práce mělo v prvé řadě být celkové zmapování náboženské situace v našem státě a sledování, jak se náboženská scéna v ČR od roku 1989 proměňuje a vyvíjí, zamyšlení se nad religiozitou v české společnosti, nad přístupem Čechů k víře a k věřícím spoluobčanům, nad jejich aktivitou v této oblasti. Situace u nás je totiž specifická pověstným českým ateismem. Dalším cílem mé práce je popsat a zdokumentovat rozdíly mezi registrovanými a neregistrovanými církvemi a náboženskými společnostmi, které se na našem území vyskytují. Náboženství se dle svých projevů různí a je stále obtížnější se vyznat v jednotlivých skupinách a hnutích, které jeho hlavní duchovní tradice reprezentují. Proto se zaměřím na popis jednotlivých náboženských tradic, se kterými se setkáváme v České republice. Ve své práci jsem se také pokusila poukázat na negativní dopady nově vzniklých náboženských hnutí po roce 1989. Na závěr práce jsem se pokusila definovat současné místo, úlohu a perspektivy tradičních církví české náboženské scény a nastínit hlavní trendy možného vývoje české náboženské scény obecně.

Abstract:

The aim of my work was primarily the global mapping of the religious situation in our country and overseeing the religious scene in the Czech republic since 1989, changing and evolving, think about the religiosity of the Czech society, the Czech approach to faith and fellow believers over their activity in this area. The situation here is specific because of the infamous Czech atheism. Another aim of my work is to describe and document the differences between registered and unregistered churches and religious societies, which exist in our country. Religion, according to it´s various manifestations and it is increasingly difficult to make sense in different groups and movements that his main spiritual traditions represented. Therefore, I describe the various religious traditions we encounter in the Czech Republic. In my work I also tried to highlight the negative impact of the new religious movement born after 1989. At the conclusion I have tried to define the current position, role and perspectives of traditional churches Czech religious scene and outline the main trends of the possible development of Czech religious scene in general.
