Active Learning Strategy

Abstract:

Tématem této diplomové práce jsou aktivizující výukové strategie, zejména ty, které lze využívat na 1. stupni základní školy. Smyslem diplomové práce je detailněji se seznámit s aktivizujícími výukovými strategiemi uplatnitelnými na prvním stupni základní školy, tedy taktéž s aktivizujícími výukovými metodami a organizačními formami, které by podnítily žáky k vlastní učební činnosti, byly by motivující, zajímavé a přínosné pro žáky prvního stupně základní školy. Cílem pak je prostřednictvím empirické části zjistit, zda učitelé používají ke zpestření výuky aktivizující výukové metody, popřípadě jaké možné výhody s nimi spojené jim přinášejí či proč je odrazují. S tím souvisí také snaha zjistit, zda se do popředí dostává konstruktivistické pojetí výuky či přetrvává pojetí transmisivní. V neposlední řadě měla empirická část za úkol konfrontovat odpovědi učitelů s odpověďmi žáků a objasnit, nakolik se odlišují, zda žáci skutečně vnímají výuku jako přínosnou a zajímavou, zda se nejedná o mylnou představu pedagogů.

Abstract:

Active Learning Strategies are the topic of the thesis, especially the strategies which are used in primary education. The focus of the thesis was to get acquainted with active learning strategies in depth. Further active learning methods and organization forms are dealt with. These methods could instigate primary school pupils to become responsible for their own learning as well as motivate them to achieve better learning results. I also attempted to find out which of the strategies teachers in primary education. The aim of the thesis was find out whether teachers use innovative methods to make classes more interesting and further, what are advantages or disadvantages of these methods. The thesis looks into the issue of constructive or transmissible conception, too. Last but not least, the aim of the empirical part was to compare teacher´s and pupil´s answers in order to clarify how much teacher´s answers differ from pupil´s answers. The results can show us whether tuition is really perceive by pupil´s as beneficial and interesting or whether it is only a wrong notion of teachers.
