Abstract:

ABSTRAKT Cíl: Cílem bakalářské práce je pomocí kazuistiky zjistit bio-psycho-sociální potřeby pacienta s Ulcerózní kolitidou. Ulcerózní kolitida je hemoragicko-katarální či ulcerózní zánět sliznice tlustého střeva, řadí se mezi idiopatické střevní záněty, neboť příčina vzniku je stále neznámá. Za posledních 20 let se incidence Ulcerózní kolitidy více než zdvojnásobila, proto je nutné o tomto onemocnění znát základní informace a pro zlepšení kvality péče zjistit potřeby těchto pacientů. Metodika: Bakalářská práce je rozdělena na dvě části. Teoretická část je zaměřena na charakteristiku onemocnění, diagnostiku a léčbu. Zmíněny jsou také potřeby pacientů s Ulcerózní kolitidou a specifika ošetřovatelské péče o tyto pacienty. Praktická část je věnována popisu onemocnění od objevení prvotních příznaků až po současný stav u konkrétního nemocného, je zpracována kvalitativní metodou průzkumu, a to formou kazuistiky. Kazuistika je zaměřena na potřeby pacienta zmíněného onemocnění. Data byla sbírána formou nestandardizovaného rozhovoru s pacientem a s pomocí získaných lékařských zpráv. Výsledky: V průběhu rozhovoru byla zjištěna řada potíží, které nemocný s Ulcerózní kolitidou zažívá. Nemocný vnímá potíže především v oblasti výživy a vyprazdňování. Velkou zátěž způsobuje onemocnění také po stránce psychické. Život s touto nemocí je velice složitý, zatěžuje nejen nemocného, ale i jeho rodinu. Závěr: Svou prací bych chtěla poukázat na problémy nemocných s tímto onemocněním a vyzdvihnout jejich potřeby.

Abstract:

ABSTRACT Purpose: The purpose of the bachelor thesis is to identify, by means of the casuistic method, bio-psycho-social needs of patients with ulcerative colitis. Ulcerative colitis is a catarrhal haemorrhagic or ulcerative inflammation of the lining of the colon; it is classified among inflammatory bowel diseases because its causes remain unknown. For the past 20 years, the incidence of ulcerative colitis has more than doubled, thus it is necessary to know essential information about this disease and to identify the needs of the patients to improve the quality of care. Methodology: The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. Theoretical part focuses on characterization of the disease, its diagnosis and treatment. The needs of patients with ulcerative colitis and the specific nursing care for these patients are also dealt with in this part. The practical part is devoted to description of the disease from the discovery of initial symptoms to the current state of a particular patient. It is elaborated by a qualitative survey method, namely by the casuistic approach. The casuistic focuses on the needs of a patient with the mentioned disease. The data were collected by means of a non-standardized interview with patients and also on the basis of obtained medical reports. Outcome: During the interview, a number of aggravating conditions were identified that the patient suffering from this disease experiences. The patient perceives difficulties especially with respect to nourishment and bowel. The disease causes considerable distress also in relation to psychological aspects. A life with this disease is very complicated and bears heavily not only on patients but their families as well. Conclusion: In my thesis, I would like to highlight the suffering of patients with this disease and emphasize their needs.
