Evaluation of the Initial public offering (IPO) as a source of financing for the selected company

Abstract:

Předložená bakalářská práce je zaměřena na několik významných atributů, zejména se jedná o proces realizace IPO a posouzení jeho vhodnosti a výhodnosti jakožto jednoho ze způsobu financování podniku vlastním kapitálem a následnou analýzu jeho absolvování ze strany dvou zvolených českých podniků, podnikovou politiku, další alternativy financování podniku, včetně cizího kapitálu, leasingu, faktoringu a forfaitingu, charakteristiku a určení WACC, cenu cizího a vlastního kapitálu a jejich vzájemnou komparaci, fundamentální a finanční analýzu podniku, charakteristiku a posouzení finančního zdraví podniku formou základního ukazatele ROE a běžné likvidity a konečně charakteristiku emitovaných akcií a s tím související posouzení jejich nadhodnocení či podhodnocení formou základního ukazatele P/E a dividendového výnosu.

Abstract:

The submitted bachelor's thesis is focused on several important attributes, its primary concern is with the process of IPO realization and assessment of its suitability and profitability as one of the methods of financing a company with equity capital and subsequent analysis of its completion by two Czech companies chosen It focuses on corporate policy and other financing alternatives of the company, including liabilities, leasing, factoring and forfaiting, characterization and determination of WACC, cost of liabilities and equity capital and their mutual comparison, fundamental and financial analysis of the company, characterization and assessment of the financial health of the company in the form of the basic ROE and current liquidity indicators, and finally the characteristics of the issued shares and the related assessment of their overvaluation or undervaluation in the form of the basic P/E ratio and dividend yield.
