Hlavním cílem této práce bylo vyvinout webový portál pro analýzu tunelů v proteinech. Tunely často hrají klíčovou roli ve funkci proteinů a znalost jejich umístění, geometrických vlastností a fyzikálně-chemických parametrů tak umožňuje lepší pochopení funkce proteinů a v neposlední řadě umožňuje tyto vlastnosti měnit s využitím proteinového inženýrství. The main aim of this thesis was to develop a web portal for analysis of tunnels in proteins. Tunnels often play a key role in the function of proteins, and knowledge of their location, geometrical parameters and physico-chemical properties provides the way to better understanding protein function and also creates a possibility to modify these properties of tunnels by protein engineering.
