Studovaná oblast se nachází v katastrálním území Hradec nad Svitavou asi 5 km jižně od města Svitavy. V dnešní době je zájmová oblast pokryta zatravněnou plochou a poli. Podloží lokality je tvořeno kvartérními sedimenty, které jsou v nadloží křídových pískovců a slínovců. Geomorfologicky se jedná o údolní oblast, která je odvodňována Vendolským potokem. Abstract:
The study area is located in the cadastral area of the Hradec nad Svitavou, some 5 km south of the town of Svitavy. The studied area is covered by grassland and fields at present time. The subsurface consists of quaternary sediments and underlaying cretaceous sandstones and marlstones. It represents a valley area drained by periodically occuring Vendolský stream.
