Experience of employees of healthcare organization with the implementation of quality standards of healthcare

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá analýzou zkušeností pracovníků vybrané zdravotnické organizace s procesem implementace standardů kvality zdravotní péče. Cílem práce je odpovědět na hlavní výzkumnou otázku: „Jaké mají zaměstnanci dané organizace zkušenosti s implementací standardů kvality zdravotní péče?“ Výsledek výzkumu by měl pomoci dané organizaci pochopit zkušenosti zaměstnanců s jednotlivými kroky implementace a zvážit je, při dalším plánování procesů implementace. Práce je členěná do tří částí. Teoretická část zabývá vymezením základních pojmů a teoretických konceptů jako jsou kvalita zdravotní péče, způsoby a koncepty řízení kvality, implementační proces, zkušenosti zaměstnanců a faktory, které zkušenosti ovlivňují. Metodologická část popisuje výzkumnou metodu kvalitativního výzkumu včetně cílů, objasňuje dílčí výzkumné otázky a zaměřuje se na zvolenou výzkumnou strategii a techniku výzkumu. Analytická část se soustředí na interpretaci dat získaných formou rozhovoru s vybranými pracovníky organizace. Na základě získaných dat, která byla analyzována, byly vypracovány shrnutí dílčích výzkumných otázek. V závěru práce je zpracováno zhodnocení shrnutí dílčích výzkumných otázek, které poskytuje doporučení pro zkoumanou organizaci.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the experience analysis of employees of a health care clinique related to the process of implementation of health care Quality standards. The main goal of this thesis is to answer the main research question: „What kind of experience the employees of this organization have with the process of implementation of the Quality standards?“. The results of the research should help the organization to fully understand the employees’ experiences with all phases of the implementation and consequently take those into consideration for the future planning of the implementation. The thesis is divided into three main parts. Theoretical part deals with the clear specification of basic terms and concepts as health care quality, methods and concepts of quality management, implementation process, employee experiences and finally factors that those experiences influence. Methodological part describes the research method of the qualitative research including goals, it also clarifies all partial research questions and focuses on the selected research strategy and techniques. Analytical part focuses on the data interpretation obtained by interviews with selected employees of the organization. Based on all gathered data that have been reviewed and analysed there was a summary of partial research questions. In the last part of the thesis the evaluation of the summary and relevant recommendations for researched organization have been processed and presented.
