Web application design according to UAF standards

Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce je návrh webové aplikace, pomocí které studenti vysokých škol vyhledávají tutora. Cílem diplomové práce je vytvoření kompletního návrhu webové aplikace dle standardů Unicorn Application Framework (UAF) s využitím softwarové architektury Unicorn Mobile First IoT Ready Cloud Architecture, jeho ohodnocení a porovnání s jinými metodami. V rámci analytické části bude nejprve analyzován současný stav oblasti soukromého doučování pro vysokoškolské studenty. Dále bude následovat podrobné představení UAF, jím používaných technologií a procesů pro návrh a implementaci webové aplikace. V závěru této části práce budou uvedeny jiné metodiky návrhu, jako např. WebML a WSDM, a bude provedeno ohodnocení UAF na základě porovnání s vybranými metodikami. Dle standardů UAF bude návrh zpracován pomocí webové aplikace uuBookKit a připojen k práci ve formě přílohy. Proto bude praktická část práce obsahovat prezentaci a popis jeho nejdůležitějších částí, které budou rozděleny na business a technickou část. Výstupem dané práce bude dokumentace, která poslouží jako podklad pro pozdější vytvoření samotné webové aplikace.

Abstract:

The theme of this thesis is a design of a web application used by university students to search for a tutor. The aim of the thesis is to create a complete design of a web application according to Unicorn Application Framework (UAF) standards using the software architecture Unicorn Mobile First IoT Ready Cloud Architecture, its evaluation and comparison with other methods. In the analytical part will be first analysed the current state of private tutoring for university students. Then there will be described in detail the UAF and its technologies and processes which are used to design and build web applications. At the end of this part there will be presented other design methods such as WebML and WSDM, and UAF will be evaluated based on a comparison with selected methodologies. According to UAF standards, the design will be prepared using the uuBookKit web application and attached to the work in the attachment form. The practical part of the work will contain presentation and description of its most important parts which will be divided into business and technical part. The output of the work will be a documentation that will serve as a basis for later implementation of the web application.
