Assess lives of domestic rabbit

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce na téma zhodnocení životních projevů králíka domácího v podmínkách drobnochovu. V první části se práce zabývá vědním oborem etologie a v části druhé se věnuje samotnému králíku domácímu. Jsou zde popsána plemena, která dala vzniknout sledovaným křížencům. Dále pak technologie ustájení a hlavní nemoci králíků. Práce zahrnovala experiment, ve kterém byly pozorovány životní projevy králíků metodou snímkování. Byl vypracován etogram, tabulky a grafy se zjištěnými hodnotami. V závěru bylo zjištěno, že jedinci byli ve výběhu aktivnější a věnovali se mnohem více činnostem, které jim nejsou v kotci příliš umožněny.

Abstract:

The goal of bachelor thesis was to assess the lives of domestic rabbits in small breeding conditions. The first part of my thesis focuses on the scientific field of ethology while the second part observes the rabbits themselves. It characterizes the breeds that created the studied crossbreeds. Furthermore, it describes the housing technology and the main rabbit diseases. Thesis included an experiment which examined the lives of rabbits using the imaging method. It was created an ethogram, tables, and graphs that showed the discovered values. Conclusion was that the individual rabbits were more active in the pen and performed many more activities they were not really able to do in the hutch.
