Money and Inflation
Abstract:
Cílem diplomové práce je analýza vývoje peněžní zásoby v porovnání s cenovou hladinou. První část se věnuje definici pojmu peněz, jejich vzniku, vývoji a funkci. Druhá část vymezuje pojem inflace, její měření, jaké jsou typy inflace, její důsledky a cílování inflace. V závěrečné části se zabýváme analýzou peněžní zásoby a cenové hladiny v letech 1998-2011 a následným vyhodnocením tohoto vývoje.
Abstract:
The aim of this diploma thesis is an analysis of money supply development compared to the price level. The first part focuses on the definition of the term money, its origin, development and function. The second part defines the term inflation, its measurement, as well as different types of inflation, its consequences and inflation targeting.
