Cooperative learning in computer science education

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá kooperativním učením ve výuce informatiky. Práce je rozdělena na dvě částí. Teoretická část práce je věnovaná pedagogickým a didaktickým aspektům kooperativního učení, které jsou nepostradatelné při jeho zařazení ve výuce. Praktická část práce je věnovaná výzkumu. Byly vytvořeny metodické listy, které byly zařazeny do výuky informatiky. Předpoklady práce byly ověřeny pomocí pedagogických experimentů. A tato část práce poskytuje jejich rozbor a výsledky.

Abstract:

The thesis discusses pros and cons of utilizing cooperative learning process in teaching high school level computer science. It is split into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical section explores pedagogical and didactic aspects of cooperative learning, essential to incorporate the process in education. The second section is practical and centers on research. Methodical and working sheets were created to be used during two separate pedagogical experiments. Both of these experiments are further analyzed to reach a conclusion. The thesis prerequisites were verified by comparing these conclusions against the data collected in the course of the research period.
