The role of imaging techniques in the diagnosis and treatment of degenerative spine disease

Abstract:

Ve své práci se zabývám problematikou degenerativního onemocnění bederní páteře a jeho klinickým obrazem na jednotlivých zobrazovacích metodách. V první části práce popisuji anatomii a fyziologii bederní páteře. Část druhá poukazuje na jednotlivé patologické projevy degenerativního onemocnění bederní páteře a jejich klinické projevy. V následující části se zabývám jednotlivými zobrazovacími metodami. Část čtvrtá popisuje konzervativní postupy v léčbě a část poslední chirurgické řešení. Ve vlastní studii se zabývám porovnáním radiační zátěže u dvou skupin nemocných (léčených na Radiologické klinice Fakultní nemocnice Hradec Králové v roce 2006 a 2009) s degenerativním onemocněním bederní páteře metodou radiofrekvenční léčby pod CT navigací.

Abstract:

In my degree thesis I deal with the issues of the degenerative disease of the lumbar spine and its clinical picture in individual imaging methods. The first part of the thesis describes both the anatomy and physiology of the lumbar spine. Part Two inquires into individual pathological demonstrations of the degenerative disease of the lumbar spine and their clinical symptoms. The following part deals with the individual imaging methods. Part Four describes conservative treatment procedures while surgical solutions are contained in the last part. The study itself compares the radiation burden in two groups of patients (treated in the Radiology Clinic of University Hospital in Hradec Králové in 2006 and 2009) with the degenerative disease of the lumbar spine using the method of radiofrequency treatment under CT navigation.
