Tato práce má dopodrobna prozkoumat operu Václava Kašlíka Krakatit, která je inspirována hlavně filmem Otakara Vávry, jenž vznikl na základě námětu původního Čapkova románu Krakatit. Zkoumá tuto operu i z hlediska autorovy osobní zkušenosti s inscenaci této opery v Národním divadle v roce 2017. This work is intended to explore in detail the opera by Václav Kašlík Krakatit, which is inspired mainly by the film of Otakar Vávra, which was based on the theme of Čapek's original novel Krakatit. He also examines this opera in terms of the author's personal experience with the staging of this opera at the National Theatre in 2017.
