Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá otázkou, zda Středoevropská dohoda o volném obchodě (CEFTA) připravila vybrané státy východního rozšíření na jejich vstup do Evropské unie (EU). This thesis deals with the question if the Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA) prepared selected countries of the Eastern enlargement for their accession to the European Union (EU). The thesis covers the period since 1992, when the CEFTA agreement was signed, to the 2004, when the first wave of Eastern enlargement happened.
