Influence of HV disturbances on LV overvoltage protection

Abstract:

Tato práce se věnuje problematice přepěťových ochran v sítích nízkého napětí. Pojednává o různých formách a vzniku přepětí, rozebírá konstrukci a použití moderních přepěťových ochran. Další část práce se věnuje problematice nejčastěji se vyskytujících jevů a poruch v sítích vysokého napětí, které způsobují dočasná přepětí v sítích nízkého napětí. V další části se práce věnuje dočasnému přepětí a jeho dopadům. Na závěr práce je provedeno měření, které ověřuje dříve popsané skutečnosti a to chování přepěťových ochran při dočasném přepětí.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with problems of overvoltage protection in low voltage network. It deals with various forms and surges, analyzes the design and use of modern surge protectors. Another part of the thesis deals with problems of the most frequent occurrences and disturbances in high voltage network, which cause temporary overvoltage in low voltage network. In the next part the thesis deals with the temporary overvoltage and its impacts. At the end of the thesis there are described measurements, which verify previously examined facts and describe that behavior of surge protections during temporary overvoltage.
