Childbirth and Alternative Methods of Obstetrics

Abstract:

Tématem mé bakalářské práce je „Porod a alternativní metody v porodnictví“. Práce je rozdělena na 5 částí, z nichž 4 jsou teoretické a 1 praktická. První část popisuje fyziologický průběh porodu, a jeho různé fáze. Také se zabývá výběrem porodnice, příznaky porodu a příjmem v porodnici. Druhá část se věnuje komplikovanými typy porodu, jejich příznaky a řešením. Tématem třetí části jsou jak přirozené, tak i farmakologické metody tišení bolesti při porodu. Poslední teoretická část se zabývá alternativními metodami v porodnictví a jejich použitím. Věnuje se místu porodu, problematice přítomnosti partnera u porodu, ale také pomůckám, které mohou ženě ulevit od bolestí a zpříjemnit příchod novorozence. Praktickou část jsem vypracovala na základě analýzy dotazníků. První varianta dotazníku byla určená pro budoucí matky a druhá pro ženy, které už zkušenosti s porodem mají. Dotazník složený z 30 otázek vyplnilo celkem 76 respondentek. Výsledky jsem zpracovala do tabulek a grafů.

Abstract:

The subject of my thesis is “The Childbirth and Alternative Methods of Obstetrics“. The work is devided into five parts. Four parts are theoretical a one part is practical. The first part of thesis is focused on physiological course of birth. It describes its individual periods, the symptoms of incoming birth and also what procedures comes after the arrival into the hospital. The following part deals with complicated kinds of birth, their symptoms and treatments. The subjects of third part are some methods of alleviate pain, including pharmacological methods, such as epidural anesthesia, but also real source, which help to reduce throes of birth contractions. The final part offers the alternative methods of childbirth and some ways how can be used. There is some information about place of birth, new positions in obstetrics, presence of father in the labour ward, but also something about new obstetric equipment. These ways make pleasant birth of newborn. The practical part of thesis is based on the analysis of surveys. Two kinds of questionnaire were given to young women (expectant mothers) and mothers. The questionnaire, conducted for this purpose, contained 30 questions and was answered by 76 women. The results were processed and evaluated in the form of charts and graphs.
