Abstract:

Predmetom skúmania mojej práce je titulkové písmo. V úvode práce sa venujem vývoju technológii a ich vplyvu na rozvoj titulkového písma. Ďalej sa zameriavam na charakteristické vlastnosti, ktoré jednotlivé fonty navzájom od seba odlišujú. V samostatnej kapitole rozoberám najznámejších predstaviteľov typografie na našom území. Spočiatku sa typografia vyvíjala spoločne v rámci Česko-Slovenka a neskôr po jeho rozdelení v oboch krajinách samostatne. Poznatky teoretickej časti práce mi pomohli pri tvorbe vlastného fontu, ktorému sa venujem v praktickej časti.

Abstract:

I focus on display font in my final work. I describe development of technologies and their impact on display font in the introduction of the work. In the following part of the document I write about characteristics of particular fonts which make fonts unique. In the second chapter I describe the most important typographers in our area. Typography was developing at the beginning in the common area of Czechoslovakia and then after its division, development of typography continued separately in the both of the countries. Knowledge I received in the theoretical part of the work I used while creating my own font. The process of creating my font is described in the practical part of this final work.
