Oct-Tree for Irradiance Caching
Abstract:
Cílem této práce bylo navrhnout a implementovat oktalový strom pro irradiance caching. Jedná se o~stromovou datovou strukturu umožňující efektivní vyhledávání v~prostoru, která ve spojení s~metodou pro optimalizaci výpočtu nepřímého osvětlení (irradiance caching) výrazně urychluje výpočet globálního osvětlení.
Abstract:
The goal of this thesis was to design and implement an octree for irradiance caching. It is an tree-like data structure providing effective searching in threedimensional space, which in relation to a method for optimalization indirect illumination (irradiance caching) significantly speeds up the computation of global illumination.
